Shirley Jane Gulledge was born in Stanly County, North Carolina on Valentines Day, February 14, 1939. She was the daughter of the late James and Mable Brown Gulledge.
Shirley worked for the telephone company as an online telephone repair technician. In retirement, Shirley was a resident of Denver, North Carolina.
She is survived by her son, Michael Haire and his wife, Debra of Stanley, North Carolina.
Shirley passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, North Carolina at the age of 84.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at Lakeside Church of God; 6636 Pine Ridge Dr. Denver, NC 28037 . A celebration of life service will begin at 3:00PM. Officiating will be Pastor Jason Collins of Lakeside Church of God and Pastor Michael Goins of Life Church in Cramerton.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 2:00PM at Fairview Memorial Park in Albemarle, North Carolina.

I am so very to find out about your mama, she was a special Lady.
You know I lost mama January 1, 2013 and there is still not a day I don’t think of her. And when I would talk to Shirley it would comfort me because they had been such friends and I felt as if she was my second mother.
