Mr. Lester Bynum Jr., 70, of Lincolnton, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital.
Born on July 30,1953 in Lincoln County, N.C. he was the son of the late Lester Bynum Sr. and Elizabeth Wingate Bynum. L served proudly in the United States Army.
Besides his parents, Lester was preceded in death by Mary Hall and Arthur Bynum.
Lester is survived by his children Ronda James-Bynum, Sherri Bynum, Trina Bynum; siblings, Hazel (Joe) Wilson from Lincolnton, NC, Patricia Love from Charlotte, NC, Semanthia (Anthony) England from Chicago, IL, Sabrina Bynum from Charlotte, NC; Hosts of nieces, nephews aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Little Rock A.M.E. Zion Church, 401 North McDowell Street Charlotte, NC 28204. The family will also receive friends during the week at Lester’s sister, Ms. Patricia Love’s residence. Military Honors will be rendered at a later date.
