Raziel Sebastian Anthony Palmer, passed away on May 13, 2024 at home in his bed surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Gaston County, NC on June 9, 2020. He was 3 years old.
He was preceded in death by his Father Robert Anthony Palmer.
He is survived by his Mother Samantha Edwards, Step Father James Thornton III, 2 Sisters Raelynne Palmer and Persephone Thornton, and Brother Roman Palmer.
As an infant he was always smiling and laughing, he enjoyed moving to music, he loved fruit, and his big sister was his favorite.
Much of his life after 10 months old was a battle of being medically complex and disabled. However he was abundantly loved and well cared for by his mother and amazing in-home nurses. His nurse team, who became like family, was comprised of Debra Jones, Wende Rogers, Ashley Philbeck, Mandy Sanders, and Margaret Monday with Bayada Pediatrics. His healthcare team also included many other providers too numerous to list but for which there is endless gratitude.
Raziel had a sweet gentle spirit and yet was still a warrior. He will be forever missed and never forgotten.
Visitation will take place on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 6:00PM to 6:45PM at Highland Drive Free Will Baptist Church in Lincolnton, NC. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 7:00PM. Officiating Pastor Luke Johnson and Associate Pastor Cole Sours.
