Clyde Edward Sink III

Ed Sink of Denver/Lake Norman NC passed away on March 14, 2026 following a brief illness at home surrounded by his loved ones.   He was born in Winston Salem NC to the loving parents of Clyde Edward Sink Jr. and Clara Tesh Sink, both deceased.   His father in 1981 and mother in 2019.  He was also preceded in death by both of his siblings, Albert Tesh Sink of Winston Salem in 2019 and Carol Sink Overman of Liberty NC in 2019.

Ed attended Parkland High School participated in numerous sports with a prime focus on football and attended Friedberg Moravian Church.

Ed graduated with a BS Degree in Business Management from High Point College in 1973 and focused his professional career in Supply Chain Management and was fornuate to have worked for Ingersoll Rand, Gilbarco Inc, Schlumberger Technologies, ITW and retired from Eaton Corporation in 2015. While with Eaton he managed Supply Chain Operations for 5 years in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.  When he returned state side with Eaton in 2010, Ed managed Supply Chain and Operations in Illinois, including Memphis Tenn, Spartanburg SC and Fontana California.

Following early retirement, Ed with his wife Pam, created Westlake Marketplace In Denver, providing wholesale co-signed clothing, furniture and artwork for their clients and associates as well as earning his real estate brokers license in 2015, creating Ed Sink Real Estate LLC associated with several local firms and was successful in investment property, commercial and residential mid-size to luxury properties.

Ed was a passionate supporter of all things UNC Tarheels, attending as many games in Chapel Hill as possible.   He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren when possible and loved his relationship with his son Wesley.  Ed  cherished his time with canine furry children, Lexus and Shiloh. 

Ed is survived by his wife, best friend and life partner, Pamela for 39 years as well his son, Wesley Edward Sink, grandson, Chase James Sink of Austin Texas, brother in law Ronnie Overman of Liberty; daughters Gina and Sherea, 4 granddaughters and special niece Leslie Overman Caverness, nephew Dr. Jason Overman, great niece Haley Caverness and great nephew Bryson Caverness; special friends Becky Bovender, Joe King and Thursday night group Edward,Christine, Chuck, Lee, Ogden and Dianna.

A celebration of Life and memorial will be held via invitation at a later date with inurnment to be in the Friedburg Moravian Cemetery Columbrium.

In lieu of flowers, Ed requests  any donations to the to be sent to Alamance County Cancer Center in Burlington NC in memory of his sister Carol Sink Overman 2019 for her courageous battle with recurrent breast cancer or to Friedburg Moravian Church in memory of his brother Albert Tesh Sink 2019
