Randy Alan Howie of Stanley N.C. passed away peacefully after an unexpected, rapid and devastating battle with pancreatic cancer at Novant Hospital on November 26, 2022, in Huntersville, N.C. at the age of 66.

He married his love at first sight Tess (she thought his tractor was sexy) on July 27, 1974 and began his family. He began a 40 plus year career as a water well pump mechanic for McCall Brothers Inc of Charlotte where he had recently semi-retired from the position of service manager. He will be remembered as a driven and intelligent individual who never saw a problem only solutions and encouraged others to pursue their goals and excel at whatever task they took on.
Randy was accomplished as a water well pump technician and often went above and beyond to ensure that the customer would never “miss the water till the well ran dry”. He was a dedicated individual who loved his wife and family and who was passionate about his hobbies of wood working and metal equipment repair.
