Nancy Driggers

Mrs. Nancy Lynn Bowden Warwick Driggers, 77, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Atrium Health, Lincolnton.

Nancy was born March 7, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Harry James Bowden and Nancy Crockett Nisbet Bowden. Nancy retired from the NC State Ports. She was an active member of St. Peter’s By The Lake Episcopal Church in Denver, NC. Nancy enjoyed traveling, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with family, friends and her women’s tea party group. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren very much and will be missed immensely.

Survivors include her husband, Clyde Driggers; a daughter, Alice Dellinger and husband, Dariel, of Stanley; a son, Yates Warwick and wife, Kim, of Iron Station; son-in-law, A.B. Collins; five grandchildren: Gray Dellinger (Katy), Riley Dellinger (Emily), Samantha Warwick (Madison), Shelby Warwick, and Christian Warwick; three step-grandchildren: Kyle Branch, Cassidy Branch, and Nicholas Branch (Carli); two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Natalie Dellinger; her brother, Jim Bowden, and his wife, Ann, and their children, Mark Bowden (Tina) and Lara Readling (Dale) and two great-nephews and a great-niece.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Collins, and her infant granddaughter, Olivia Crockett Dellinger.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at St. Peter’s By The Lake Episcopal Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter’s By The Lake, 8433 Fairfield Forest Rd., Denver, NC 28037.
