Milton Lee Fowler Sr.

Mr. Milton Lee Floyd Sr. Picture 001 (2)Milton Lee Fowler, Sr. (Rock/Bud), 82, of Lincolnton. passed away peacefully at Sherrills Ford Hospice House on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.

Milton was born in Lincoln County on December 2, 1935 to the late Carl and Annie Fowler.

He served honorably and proudly in the United States Marine Corps. as an aircraft mechanic. After his service to our country, Milton worked as a mechanic in the textile industry.

Milton was an ‘outdoors man.’ He loved to fish, hunt and play golf. His family said that he was a man with a good heart.

Besides his parents, Milton was also preceded in death by 3 sisters; Patricia, Jane and Phyllis.

Milton is survived by his children; Milton “Lee” Fowler, Jr. (Cork) and wife Tammy of Taylorsville, Karen Fowler Lingerfelt and husband Rick of Lincolnton, Tanya Thompson and husband Rick of Florida; one brother, Carl Fowler and wife Sue of Lincolnton; 8 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations in Milton’s memory to the Marine Corps League would be deeply appreciated.

The Good Samaritan Funeral Home of Denver is serving the Fowler Family.

    Looking for the rest of my family. This was my grandmother Mary Jane Shade brother. Her maiden name was Fowler. I loved going to see my family when I was younger. It would be great to catch up with some family members.
