Had not thought of Mrs. Sparks in many years! She taught us music at Eastlawn Elementary School in the late 50’s!
We loved her and her enthusiasm for teaching! Condolences to her loving family, knowing she brought so much joy to so many!

I so remember and enjoyed her music class at Turrentine Junior High School. Sad to hear of her passing.

Tommie was my Youth Pastor, Choir Director, Teacher, Mentor and friend. She provided my first experiences in directing a choir and was instrumental in helping me to find my way in music. I loved her.
