Lisa Hyman Laircey

Lisa Hyman Laircey, 58 of Gastonia, NC passed away on May 13,2025. Born and raised in Gastonia, NC. Lisa spent her entire life in the community she loved, touching many lives with her kindness and strength. 

 

Lisa worked as a loved store clerk at Kingsway Ent. for over a decade, where her warm smile and welcoming spirit made her a favorite among customers and coworkers alike. 

 

She was the oldest daughter of Magoo and Delores Hyman, and the proud big sister of Laura Bollinger and Terri Michaels. Lisa’s life was deeply rooted in family- she was the devoted wife of 40 years to Harold Laircey. A loving mother to Jesika Laircey (Shannon) and  Megan Laircey (Rodney), and a loving grandmother to Makayla and Nathan. Her best friend of 25 years Ronda Barr, stood by her side for life’s challenges and Joys. 

 

Lisa’s loyalty, laughter, and love extended to all that knew her- including her cherished Pitt bull JuneBugg. She will be remembered for her big heart, strong spirit, and the quiet impact she had on everyone around her. 

 

A celebration of life will be held on July 12, 2025 at her daughters home. Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories, laughter and love in honor of Lisa’s beautiful life.
