Born on July 15, 1966, James lived a life defined by service, loyalty, and devotion to his family and country. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran, serving three years with honor and carrying the values of duty and commitment throughout his life.
James shared 25 loving years of marriage with his wife, Lisa Martini. He was a devoted father to Joshua Mayes, Kaitlin Maiyo, Samantha Flowers, Michael Martini, Adrienne Hooper, and Deanna Martini. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Elizabeth Mayes, Sydney Mayes, Alexia Mayes, Logan Mayes, Jaxon Mayes, Xazavious Berryman, Carter Brooks, Gavin Brooks, Avery Smith, and Prudence Hooper—affectionately known as “Grampy,” a title he wore with pride and love.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, quiet strength, and the deep love he had for his family. His life made a lasting impact on all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished always.
He is survived by his sister, Kristine Farnsworth, along with extended family members and friends who will hold his memory close.
