Hazel Turner Barton, 97, of Huntersville, NC passed away on January 23, 2018 at the Huntersville Oaks. Born on December 4, 1920 in Mecklenburg Co., NC. she was the daughter of the late William W. and Virginia Cook Turner. Mrs. Barton worked as a bank employee by profession. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar L. Barton who passes away in 1946. Mrs. Barton is survived by her sister, Mrs. Ruth T. Haigler of Denver; and Mrs. Haigler’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Graveside Service was held at Salisbury National Cemetery Salisbury, NC. The Good Samaritan Funeral Home in Denver, served the Barton Family.
