Glenda always had a smile on her face. We danced together at the Senior Center in Lincolnton and I could always see her smile at church from my seat in the choir. She will truly be missed. Peace to her family, friends and all who loved her.

“In loving memory of my dear mother, Glenda, whose gentle spirit and unwavering love illuminated the lives of all who knew her. As her son, I am filled with gratitude for the countless memories we shared, from laughter-filled moments to the quiet times of understanding. One of our cherished rituals was the joyous art of makeup and hair, where I delighted in enhancing her natural beauty, a reflection of her inner radiance.

Among the snapshots of our time together, one stands out vividly—a photograph capturing her transformation into Cleopatra, a testament to her vibrant and adventurous spirit. In that moment, she embodied strength, grace, and timeless elegance, much like the legacy she leaves behind.

Glenda “Mom” was more than just a parent; she was my confidante, my guiding light, and my greatest supporter. Her unwavering love and boundless wisdom shaped me into the person I am today. She approached life with courage and determination, a true testament to her character.

Throughout her journey, she amassed an impressive collection of trophies, not in the form of accolades or material possessions, but in the hearts of those she touched. She was a beacon of love, kindness, and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though she may no longer walk beside us, her spirit will forever reside in our hearts, her legacy a beacon of hope and inspiration for generations to come. Rest peacefully, dear Glenda, knowing that your love will continue to guide and comfort us in the days ahead.”
