Connie Lou Rosskamp

Connie Lou Rosskamp passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 in Denver, NC at the age of 89. She was born July 15, 1931 to parents Clarence W. Pierce and Gladys (Wolfe) Pierce in Tarentum, PA.

She was married for 62 years to her husband Stanley W. Rosskamp who passed in 2018, and they resided in Springdale, PA until 1996 when they moved to Denver, NC.  She leaves her son Mark Rosskamp, grandson Matthew Rosskamp, brothers William and Fred Pierce of Pennsylvania, and sister Joan Christy of Florida.

Connie traveled with her husband Stan who served in the U.S. Army for 3 years and they lived in Germany from 1955 to 1957. They settled in Springdale, PA where Connie worked for the Deitch Company Scrap yard in Sharpsburg, PA and then the Harmarville Rehabilitation Center until she retired.

She was an active supporter of Stan’s hobby of model railroading and a member of the Western Pennsylvania Model Railroad Museum in Gibsonia, PA.

A private memorial will be held at a future date with family in Pittsburgh.

    She was a dear friend and I miss her very much. She and Stanley will forever hold a special place in my heart.
