Peggy Jean Correll (Allen) 84 of Stanley, Passed away Saturday November 15, 2025, at her home. She was born on September 5, 1941, in Cleveland County.
Peggy worked in textiles
She was the wife of the late Vernon Correll, in addition to her husband, Peggy was proceeded in death by her parents James M. Allen & Kathleen Wheeler, brothers Dean Allen & David Allen, sisters Delilah Buff & Pat Dover.
She is survived by her daughter Ashley Correll, Grandson Preston Hester & wife Serenity, her brother James Allen, Sister-in-Law Katie Allen (wife of Dean Allen), Niece Sandy Canipe & husband Bobby, Crystal Hudson & Emily Ramirez, as well as many more Nieces & Nephews, and Great Nieces & Great Nephews.
Peggy is remembered as a kind soul, she loved discussing the word of God and enjoyed reading His word as often as possible. Her favorite verse was John 3:16, her favorite hymn was Amazing Grace.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at East Lincoln Missionary Baptist Church Iron Station, NC. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:00PM. Peggy will be laid to rest following the service.
