Larry Glenn Pressley, 70, of Mount Holly, NC died the evening of August 11th, 2021.
Larry was born April 20, 1951, the 7th of 11 children to Webster and Nanny Mae (Rogers) Pressley, in Oconee County, SC.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of almost 52 years, Martha (Roach) Pressley, their children Nancy (Ray) Lewis and Jamie (Melissa) Pressley; 5 Grandchildren – Dillon Pressley, Ciera Lewis, Taylor Pressley, Austin Pressley, Alexa Lewis and 1 Great Grandchild – Chloe Pressley; 1 Brother – Steve Pressley and 2 Sisters – Debbie Bruce and Beverly Hughes.
He was preceded in death by his parents – Web and Mae Pressley, and 7 brothers – Harold, Bobby, Billy, Bruce, Leon, Johnny and Elvis Pressley.
Larry and Martha lived in Oconee County until 1973 when they moved to Denver, NC. Larry worked for Duke Power/Duke Energy as a master welder from 1970 until his retirement after 25+ years of service.
Larry was an excellent golfer; his first job was as a golf caddy and he had a life-long love of the sport. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing, watching golf and football, working in the yard and sitting on the porch.
