Thomas R. Keever, 72, of Denver, passed away peacefully at home after an extended illness on Thursday, December 25, 2025.
He was born on February 15, 1953, to the late James Archie Keever and Hallie Revis Keever Mundy. Tom retired after 38 years of service with Duke Energy, where he worked as a Nuclear Maintenance Technician. He was an avid horseman, woodworker, and farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his son, Debbie Foster Keever.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Terry Wilson Keever of the home; his son, Lee Thomas Keever of Gastonia; his siblings, Norma Keever Hester and husband Danny of Denver, Randy Archie Keever of Lincolnton, and Rick Revis Keever and wife Donna of Denver; his grandchildren, Braden Thomas Keever and Ansley Rose Keever; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Tom’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Good Samaritan Funeral Home in Denver. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
