Stanley John Skokowski, Jr., 74, of Lincolnton, North Carolina passed away on February 14, 2024, at his residence surrounded by family.
John was born July 17, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Stanley and Ruth Skokowski, Sr. He married the love of his life, Gloria J. Lytle on March 1, 1969. He was a United State Army Veteran. He held several jobs throughout his life, but his passion was coaching high school football.
John is survived by his wife, Gloria Skokowski; sons, Johnny Skokowski, III of Lincolnton, North Carolina, Chad Skokowski and wife Kirsten of Street, Maryland, Shawn Skokowski and wife, Dustin of Denver, North Carolina; daughter, Billie Jo Frank of Bel Air, Maryland, and; grandchildren, Meghan, CJ, Kenny, Korina, Kerry, Emilie, Cody, Sydney, Skylar, Sammie and Caleb.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Mt Zion Church, 1643 Churchville Road, Bel Air. MD 21015. The doors will open at 3:30.
In lieu of flower, memorials in Stanley’s name may be made to St Jude’s Hospital.
