Kevin Anthony Kreft 33 , passed away on Friday December 12, 2025 at home with his family. He was born in Winnebago County , Rockford Illinois to Douglas Kreft and the late Kathrine Kreft .
Kevin is predeceased by his twin sister Loren Maree Kreft , His grandparents Paul and Lorrainne Kreft and Joseph and Lucille Hagl .
Left behind to cherish his Memory are his father Douglas Kreft, Bonus mom Kathleen Kreft , Aunt Fabienne (Rod) Olsen , bonus sister Tomieka Kelley, and nieces Kaylen and Cadence.
Kevin fought a lifetime battle with cerebral palsy and complications yet that did not stop him from being a very social guy. Although he was non verbal he communicated with the sparkles in his eyes and his big happy grin, giggle and signs of excitement upon his interactions with those around him. He was also one of Barney the dinosaur’s biggest fans.
He was a master at winning over the hearts of many who came to know him. We never understood the why’s and where’s of his debilitating disease other than his being an ambassador of teaching unconditional love. Kevin will be forever in our hearts and minds.
