Chester Wojcik, 79, of Iron Station ( formerly of Connecticut ) passed away suddenly on March 26, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory. Chester was born in Poland on November 4, 1938, the son of the late Stanislaw and Aniela Marciniak Wojcik. Chester was a steel worker by profession. He served proudly in the United States Army
Chester is survived by his daughter Evelyn M. Jachimiec and son Chester J. Wojcik; son-in law, grandchildren and a brother.
The family held a private visitation and Catholic Prayer Service in the Little Flower Visitation Room at The Good Samaritan Funeral Home. Rev. Father Carmen V. Malacari, Pastor of Holy Spirit R.C. Church Denver was the Celebrant.
Burial with Military Honors will take place in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Wallingford, CT.
