Audrey Ruth Benton, 84, of Denver passed away on February 24, 2024. She was born in Iredell County on March 30, 1939 to the late Charles Sr. and Alta Black Benton.
Audrey was a proprietor of a Motorcycle Dealership. Her true passion was creating beautiful pieces of artwork, traveling, and collecting antiques.
Besides her parents, Audrey is preceded in death by her brother Charles Black Jr; nephew Anthony Jarnagin; and infant daughter Cynthia Lee who passed away at birth in 1974.
Audrey is survived by her sister Merle Joy-Riddle and sister-in-law Maxine Black of Denver, NC; many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins along with very special great-nieces and nephews that were loved immensely.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 11:00AM- 12:00PM at The Good Samaritan Funeral Home.
