Michael J. Lafferty of Huntersville, NC passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 62.
His life was marked by steadiness, kindness, and a deep devotion to those he loved. He is survived by his wife, Karen, and his sons, John Henry and Thomas, who were the pride of his life and the center of his world. He is also survived by his siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews — all of whom he dearly loved.
Michael’s memory lives on in the everyday moments he shaped — in the lessons he taught, the love he offered freely, and the quiet dignity with which he faced life. His legacy was not defined by grand gestures, but by the enduring ways he made others feel seen, supported, and valued.
A Catholic Prayer Service will take place on Thursday October 8, 2026 at 1:30PM at Good Samaritan Funeral Home.
