Jesse James Parker Jr passed away at atrium health Lincoln on Friday, June 5, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 56 years young.
Jesse was born November 5, 1969 in Lincolnton, NC to his proud parents, Jesse Parker Sr and Cathy Taylor.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Jesse Parker Sr. His paternal grandparents, Bud and Francis Parker. Maternal grandparents, Seldon and Luria Taylor. And Uncle’s Gene, Larry and Joel Taylor.
He is survived by his mother, Cathy Taylor. Son, Dylan Clack (Fiancé Crystal) Daughter, Jessica Johnson (Husband Taylor) Daughter, Lillian Parker (Spouse Carlos) Brother, Michael Allen (Wife Amanda) Uncle, Ted Taylor (Wife Jane) Aunt, Dorothy Heavner Sigmon (Husband Milton) Grandson, Jason Wells. Granddaughters, Winnlee and Dovelynn Johnson. And many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Jesse was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and in his spare time loved building model cars, playing the drums (which he taught himself to do) and listening to his favorite 80s rock band Mötley Crüe.
A memorial service will be held in honor of Jesse on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11 AM in the sanctuary of Gainsville Baptist Church in Lincolnton, Nc.
In lieu of flowers. The family kindly requests that donations be made in Jesse’s name to the location of service.
