Robin L. Phillips, of Denver, NC, passed away peacefully at home on December 20, 2025. Born in
Charlotte, NC, Robin began her education at Appalachian State University. After her time in
Boone, she moved to Murrells Inlet, SC and worked at a marina before feeling a calling to
pursue nursing. She returned to Charlotte and attended Presbyterian School of Nursing,
graduating in 1993. Following her graduation, Robin moved to Georgetown, SC and began her
career at Tidewaters Georgetown Hospital as an operating room nurse. She later settled in
Denver and continued her dedication to patient care with OrthoCarolina, where she completed
her career.
Robin was a gifted and talented craftsperson, creating beautiful work across many media. Her
handmade pieces – each one crafted with care, creativity and love – will be treasured by her
family and friends for years to come. She also had a deep love for dogs, and the companionship
they brought her was a joyful and constant part of her life.
A private gravesite ceremony will be held at a later date.
