James Kenneth Alexander, 84, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at his residence. Born on March 7, 1941 in Cabarrus Co., NC. He was the son of the late James Benjamin and Robbie Lois Compton Alexander.
He was a student at Rowan Tech. He served in the United States Navy.
James was a machinist and an electrician by profession
He retired from Duke Power, now called Duke Energy, and also retired from Phillip Morris.
Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by his granddaughter Kristina Alexander.
He is survived by his wife Mona Kay Hampton Alexander; daughter Kandy Alexander Brotherton; son Keith Alexander; grandchildren Alexander Jones and Courtney Jones; sister Doris Murph.
