Alicia Danielle Hendrick, 37, of Newton, North Carolina, passed away on November 2, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born on January 26, 1989, in Hickory, North Carolina, Alicia was a hardworking, loving, and devoted mother. She owned her own business as a massage therapist and took great pride in her work. Alicia had a caring spirit and a strong work ethic, but above all else, being a mother to her beloved son, Hunter, was one of the greatest joys of her life.
Alicia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, caring for her cats, gardening, and being outdoors. She was fun-loving and brought laughter and joy to those around her. Most of all, she will be remembered as a wonderful and devoted mother who loved her son deeply.
Alicia is lovingly remembered by her partner, Brian McCrain; her beloved son, Hunter Taylor; her mother, Stephanie Carver; her father, William Hendrick; her grandmother, Sandra Edmondson; her grandfather, Mitchell Mingus; and her nieces and nephews, Marshall, Matthew, McKenzie, Dakota, Haleigh, Marilyn, Mila, Corbin, Riley, Archer, and Clara and Bradley.
Alicia’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Though she is gone far too soon, the love, laughter, and beautiful memories she shared with her family and friends will never be forgotten.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
