Linda Lee Jefferson passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 80 in Denver, North Carolina. Born on September 14, 1946, in Dearborn, Michigan, she was the daughter of Marjorie and Wilbur Valentine.
Linda was the beloved wife of James Jefferson for 55 years and a devoted mother to Kimberly and Amy. Her family was the center of her world and her greatest source of happiness. She spoke of them with immense pride and joy, and her face would light up whenever she shared stories about those she loved.
Raised in the church, Linda’s faith in God was a guiding force throughout her life. She often reflected on the many times her prayers were answered and found comfort and strength in her deep spiritual beliefs. She was also a member of Cowans Ford Golf Club, where she enjoyed fellowship and friendship.
She is survived by her loving husband, James; her daughters, Kimberly (Nathan) and Amy (Lance); her brother, Bill (Beth); and extended family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held on October 10, 2026 at Unity Presbyterian Church, with visitation beginning at 2:30 PM and a service to follow at 3 PM.
