Donna Jo King Lewis, 65, of Belmont, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Atrium Health Mercy. Donna was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bonnie Conner King.
Donna lived in Belmont most of her life attending Belmont schools and graduating from South Point High School in 1978. After high school, Donna worked at Belmont Hosiery for several years.Then, she was employed with Atrium HealthCharlotte, working in Patient Financial Services and retiring as Credit Processing Manager in 2020.
In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her loving husband, Mark A. Lewis in 2005 and her brother, Randall (Randy) King.
Donna is survived by her son, Aaron Lewis of Belmont, NC. Survivors also include her nephews and niece; Darrell Lewis, Daniel Puhudski,Brandon King and Laura Beth Lewis. Also, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law; Rodney Lewis(Bob), Darrell Lewis (Laura), Jeff Lewis and Jackie King.
A celebration of life will be scheduled later.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
