Leroy Eugene Johnson of Denver, North Carolina formerly of Mantua, Ohio passed into eternal life on August 15, 2015. Mr. Johnson was born on April 15, 1940 to the late Elza and Pearl Johnson. He was a CWO3 US Army during the Vietnam War, serving three tours. He was a recipient of the commendation medal. Leroy was also a supervisor at the Geauga County Engineers for over 20 years.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife Kathlyn (Brown) Johnson, sons Geoff (Nancy), Gregg (Tami) and Bruce (Mary), grandchildren Jennifer, Justin, Rachel, Jeremiah and Matt, great grandchildren Aiden and Jayla. He was preceded in death by siblings Anna, Charles (Chic) and Carl Johnson. There will be no calling hours, cremation has taken place.
